Joey is a video-photo editor for Smartbox; and a photojournalist. Filming, camera-handling, video and photo editing is not anymore new to her as she has always been practicing her skills for years.

 

She is taking up a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication at Adamson University where she also became a student leader of their organization. For her, photojournalism is not about the photographer. It is about telling the stories that people share.

 

She believes that making pictures can be an amazing tool to help individuals discover the captivating stories that happen around them every day, whether they’re stories of social injustice, heroism, tragedy or inspiration.

 

Joey is a freelance photographer, videographer and “same-day-edit” editor. She covers different events, debuts and weddings.

 

At the age of 20, she considers herself as a young artist exploring different fields of arts. Outside of editing and academic accomplishments, she is a dedicated musician. An active 2nd violinist at Adamson University Orchestra and 3rd clarinetist at Adamson University Brass Band – under the Cultural Affairs Office headed by Director Nenita Dimaplis.
