JESSE REY L. BABAN
Adviser | The Professor
Online Journalism / Multi-Media Journalism Principles Instructor
Blissful, long-tempered, enthusiastic yet calm. Actually, finding the right words to describe Mr. Baban is difficult. But one thing is for sure, his kindness is his trademark.
Mr. Baban, or more called as Sir Jesse by his students, is one of the newest member of the family in the Department of Communication at Adamson University. With his long hair and mysterious look, you'll find him strict and traditional professor for sure.
He is the adviser and our professor in Online Journalism as well as in Environment Communication class. Aside from being a part-time instructor in Adamson, he dedicates much of his time as a Media and Communications Staff of Freedom from Debt Coalition.
Carrying a degree as a Film major, he is very particular in details especially when it comes with technicalities of a video. Sir Jesse is a critic that he sees even the smallest and unnoticeable editing lapses.
Activism runs within his system. He joins public movement/rallies to bring change or just simply acknowledge his advocacies in life.
He always goes for anything. He listens to his students and challenges them and himself as well. We must say, that he is liked by his students because of his patience and kindheartedness.
From the whole team of Arts and Culture, thank you for imparting your knowledge, time, life lessons and moments with us. We have learned a lot!
